Your parents do their best in raising you. 
They aren’t perfect like you so don’t curse them for their mistakes. 
Some parents hurt you and that’s why society is willing to help you. 
Some parents don’t know they are hurting you so you have the right to speak up. 
Some parents don’t understand you, so you can’t blame them for that. 
Some parents don’t listen, they are too old to change and it’s up to you how you end up dealing with that. 
Some parents physically punish you, it’s only because they think it’s for your own good. 
Some parents punish you irrationally, it’s because they don’t understand.

A lot of parents do what they can… it’s really not perfect all the time but they try. The way us kids try to please them. They won’t understand us fully but they try. Behind our backs they worry… some even cry. some even pray. some sacrifice so much and A LOT of kids don’t see that.

Love your parents for who they are. Love them for the mistakes they caused. They need you as much as you need them. Some parents really don’t hit the perfect category but don’t worry, a lot of us see it that way and it takes kids like us to share our stories and everyone will know that another person from wherever in the globe, feels the way you do.
